Director Wayne Harrison pushes this 1960s theme with a pop-art set by Joh Senczuk, which might be a tough gaudy, even ungainly, but successful in its effect. The moving Escher-like bakdrops - from fish to birds to Qantas kangaroos - help explain the play's main observation: how artfully are beings transformed. ... the production looks good. It's a fun night, with the ideas cooked up in a storm of colour.
